It is possible to reserve a resource already on loan by using the “Reservation” button in the “Pick up on site”, the “Pick up on site at other libraries” and the “Further request options” sections. With “Reservation”, you can reserve items on loan also for the local courier services.
As soon as the item is returned, the library will put it aside for you at no cost and send you a notification when it is ready to be picked up at their circulation desk.
For the local courier services, the library will send it to the library you have selected for the pick up.
Placing a reservation request in the “Pick up on site” and “Pick up on site at other libraries” sections is free of charge. In the “Further Request Options”, depending on the document’s provenance, fees may apply for reservation requests.
Please note that when requesting unavailable documents, no delivery time estimation can be given since it is unknown when the document will be available.
