In the “Further Request Options” section, you can request resources via the national SLSP courier service from selected swisscovery and Renouvaud libraries.

The first time you use this section, no options will be displayed. You must first select your preferred service by clicking on the “Select location” field.

Here, you can select your preferred pickup institution and pickup location for courier deliveries, or choose your home or office address for postal deliveries:

This step only needs to be completed once. After clicking the “Select” button, your preferences are saved, and available options will be displayed each time you visit swisscovery. You can update these settings at any time by clicking on the location field again.

If your institution participates in the national SLSP courier service, related options will appear in the “Further Request Options” section.

This service allows you to request physical items to be delivered from another institution to a library within your institution.

The SLSP Courier service costs 8.- per document (some libraries offer discounted rates to their readers).

Requesting an item via Courier

To request delivery of a document, adjust the pickup location if necessary, then click the “Request” button.

You will receive a notification as soon as the document is ready for pickup at your selected library.

Please note that available options depend on the chosen pickup location. Changing the pickup location may display different offers, including variations in price, delivery time, and loan period. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by occasional library closures, such as during holidays.
