From the search results page, clicking on a resource title opens its detailed record, where you can view a full description, access online resources directly, or place a request for physical items.
At the top of the page, you will find a brief description of the resource along with a summary of its availability. The page also includes several sections that provide more detailed information about the resource:
Citation
From here, you can search and navigate between works cited by this resource and those that cite it.
Search Inside
Available for online journals, this section makes it possible to search within the articles published in them.
View Online
Open access and licensed e-resources are displayed in the “View online” section. Access to licensed e-journals, e-books, and databases is restricted to the network of the licensing institution (on campus). From outside the university, you can use VPN, Eduroam, EZProxy, or similar services to access these resources. For more information on remote access, please consult your library or university’s IT website.
Pick up on site
The “Pick up on site” and “Pick up on site at other libraries” sections show which libraries hold a physical copy of the document and allow you to place a request.
Further Request Options
In this section, you can request resources via the national SLSP Courier service for selected swisscovery and Renouvaud libraries, as well as through some local courier services. You can also request digitizations and postal deliveries.
Note: The first time you access this section, no options will be displayed. You must first select your preferred delivery location in the dedicated field.
Links
This section provides links, where available, to the digital version of the document or its table of contents. It also allows you to view the raw metadata of the record.
Details
This section provides complete information about the record, such as the title, publisher, and pagination. From here, you can navigate between records in the same series, subject, or by the same author. You can also browse chapters of the same book or, for journals, navigate to predecessor or successor titles.
Export Options
Under “Export options,” a range of features is available to share or export the resource’s data and link.
More from the same Course
Some documents are grouped into “courses,” allowing you to find other resources required for the same course.
More from the same Collection
Some records may be part of special collections. These collections can be accessed via the navigation menu at the top of the page. The “More from the same Collection” section provides an overview of other records within the same collection.
