In the “Further Request Options” section it is possible to request resources via the national SLSP courier service for selected swisscovery and Renouvaud libraries.

The first time you use this section, it will not display any offer. You first need to select your preferred service by clicking on the “Select location” field.

Here you can select your preferred pickup institution and pickup location for courier deliveries, or you can select your home or office address for postal deliveries:

This step must be performed only once. Once you click on the “Select” button, your settings will be saved and offers will display every time you visit swisscovery. You can change these settings anytime by clicking on the location field again.

If your institution take part at the national SLSP courier service, offers for this service will appear in the “Further Request Options”.

This service allows you to request physical documents to be delivered from another institution to a library in your institution.

SLSP Courier is priced at 8.- per document (some libraries offer a reduced rate to their readers).

Requesting a Courier

To request a document to be delivered, adjust the pickup location if necessary, and click on the “Request” button.

You will get a notification as soon as the document is ready for pickup in the library you have chosen.

Please note that offers adapt to pick up locations. By changing the pickup location, other offers may display with different prices, delivery times and loan periods. Please also note that the delivery time displayed is based on an estimation. Occasional library closings, during holidays for instance, may affect delivery times.
