In this section, it is possible to request resources via the national SLSP Courier service for selected swisscovery and Renouvaud libraries and some of the Local Couriers service. It is also possible to request digitization or the postal deliveries.
The first time you use this section, it will not display any offer. You first need to select your preferred delivery location by clicking on the “Select location” field.
Here you can select your preferred pickup institution and pickup location for courier deliveries, or you can select your home or office address for postal deliveries:
This step must be performed only once. Once you click on the “Select” button, your settings will be saved and offers will display every time you visit swisscovery. You can change these settings anytime by clicking on the location field again.
The “Further Request Options” offers the following delivery services:
- Digitization (for all users except users with special conditions and journals requests)
- Local Couriers (of Universität und PH Bern, ETH Zürich, Université de Neuchâtel, Université de Genève and HES-SO)
- Postal delivery
- Reservation
- SLSP Courier
Reading Room documents
Certain physical documents cannot be taken home because of their importance or rarity. However, they can be accessed and consulted in a designated reading room. It is also possible to request these items for delivery to a different library, where they must still be used on-site. In such cases, the “Further Request Options” area will indicate “in reading room”:
