The «Pick up on site» section display which libraries own a physical copy of the document.
The section also offers a filter to restrict locations to a specific location, volume or year.
By clicking on a location, the details of every item is displayed, if they are available, were they are stored in the library and under which conditions can be taken on loan.
By clicking on the name of the library, you will be re-directed to a page containg its adress and the contact information.
Right under the name of the library, the holding information of journals and multivolume works are displayed.
Locations for related titles
In case you are consulting the record of a book chapter, “Locations for related titles” display the link to the bibliographic record of the entire book and, when possible, allow to place a request for it.
“Locations for related titles” also display, in case of a publisher collection, the link to the bibliographic record of the collection.
Pick up on site at other libraries
The «Pick up on site at other libraries» section works the same as the «Pick up on site» section and display the availabilities from other libraries members of swisscovery.
The «Pick up on site» and «Pick up on site at other libraries» sections offer the following delivery services:
- Booking
- Digitization (only for journals requests and patron users with special conditions)
- Local Couriers (of Region Zentralschweiz, Universität St.Gallen, UZH und ZB Zurich, Region Basel, PH – HEP, Universität und PH Bern, HES-SO and ETH Zürich)

- Purchase requests
- Reservation
