The «Pick up on site» section displays which libraries owns a physical copy of the document.
The section also offers a filter to restrict results to a specific location, volume or year.
By selecting a location, the item details are displayed including availbility information, where they are located in the library and loaning conditions.
Clicking on the library name redirects to a page that provides its address and contact information.
Below the library name, the holding details for journals and multivolume works display.
Locations for related titles
For some book chapters, “Locations for related titles” displays the link to the record details of the entire book and, when possible, allow to place a request for it.
“Locations for related titles” also displays, in case of a publisher serie, the link to the details of the serie.
Pick up on site at other libraries
The «Pick up on site at other libraries» section is similar to the «Pick up on site» section but displays the availabilities from other swisscovery libraries members.
The «Pick up on site» and «Pick up on site at other libraries» sections offer the following delivery services:
- Booking
- Digitization (only for users having preferential prices for digitization)
- Local Couriers (of Region Zentralschweiz, Universität St.Gallen, UZH und ZB Zurich, Region Basel, PH – HEP, Universität und PH Bern, HES-SO and ETH Zürich)
- Loan
- Purchase requests
- Reservation
